The important points of how we work, in plain English. Your written quote and move plan also form part of your agreement with us.

At a glance

• Free, fixed quote – Your price is fixed once we've seen what's moving.
• Simple booking – Booked once you accept your quote and pay any deposit shown on it.
• Plans can change – Tell us early and we'll always try to move your date.
• Insured in our care – Goods in transit insurance while we move your things.
• Safe storage – Secure, with liability cover, delivered back when you're ready.
• Your data stays private – Used only for your enquiry and move. Never sold.

Quotes and prices

• Quotes are free and based on the survey, video or inventory you give us.
• The price is fixed for the items and services listed on your quote.
• Extra items, extra services or access we weren't told about may change the price. We'll always tell you before anything changes.
• Each quote is valid for the period shown on it.

Booking and payment

• Your move is booked when you accept the quote and pay any deposit it shows.
• Your quote shows when the balance is due and the ways you can pay.
• We confirm your date, arrival time and crew in writing.

Changes and cancellations

• Tell us as soon as possible if your date changes. We'll try to move your booking, subject to availability.
• Any cancellation or postponement charges are shown on your quote.
• If we ever need to change your booking, we'll tell you straight away and agree a new plan with you.

Your part on moving day

• Make sure we have access, parking and keys at the agreed times.
• Tell us about anything fragile, valuable or unusual before moving day.
• Keep cash, jewellery, important documents and medicines with you.
• Empty and defrost fridges and freezers, and disconnect appliances, unless we've agreed to do it for you.

What we can't move

• Hazardous items such as gas bottles, paint, chemicals and fuel.
• Illegal items, perishable food and live animals.
• Anything we reasonably believe isn't safe to carry.

Insurance, damage and claims

• Your belongings are covered by our goods in transit insurance while in our care. Your quote explains the cover.
• Cover for items you pack yourself may be limited. Ask us if you're unsure.
• Please check your belongings and tell us about any damage as soon as you can, with photos, so we can put it right.

Storage

• We collect, store and deliver back. Storage charges are shown on your quote.
• Please give us notice before you need your items back.
• Stored items must not include food, liquids or hazardous items.

Disposal and clearances

• We only remove the items you've asked us to remove.
• We dispose of items responsibly, and reuse or recycle wherever we can.

Your information

• We use your details only to quote for, plan and carry out your move.
• We never sell your information.
• You can ask to see or delete your details at any time.

• If something isn't right, tell us and we'll do our best to put it right quickly.
